As the warmest season of the year, summer evokes spirits anew, adventure, the exalting of senses, and has inspired celebrated literary works from all over the world.

Until Wednesday, 31st August, Members are invited to submit a short piece of writing using “Summer” as a central theme. Using no more than 100 words, the submission can be lyrical or prosaic, fictional or reality, and should be unpublished and one’s own creation.

The winning submission will receive a limited edition print of Mona Elkateb’s Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?, 2022 which was commissioned for The Arts Club Dubai.
